Tasting notes
A Rhone rarity grown in ancient sandy soils at 2,000 feet, 378 cases. Gracious aromatics of Asian pear and Pippin apple with a touch of tropical flair, leading to sweet citrus, pineapple, apricot and mango. Only 207 tons of Picpoul were crushed in California in 2019, out of more than 1.7 million tons of white wine grapes. It is one of only 13 varieties permitted in Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
