Tasting notes
The winemaking team wear matching t-shirts about this grape, which tells you most of what you need to know. They planted a significant amount of Mourvèdre knowing it would give them a rainbow of wines, from complex rosé through to rich reds. Only 174 cases of this one, richly coloured and flavoured, showing the complex earthy character that defines the variety. Where the Amphora Mourvèdre emphasises freshness and brightness, the wood-aged version has more power and structure.
