93% St. Laurent from Ricci Vineyard in Los Carneros with 7% Tempranillo from Las Lomas in El Dorado County, 224 cases. Like a dive into a luscious bowl of summer plums and cherries and coming up with a great plan for dinner. St. Laurent makes a very dark wine flush with fruit but with lower tannins and naturally low alcohol. The fraction of Tempranillo lends roundness, and both grapes share cherry, tobacco and earthy characters.
