Tasting notes
An experimental blend made to explore traditional practice. Skin contact whites were historically made in Georgia, fermented in great underground clay vats called qvevri, a method UNESCO added to its Intangible Cultural Heritage list in 2013 at 8,000 years old. The Ambra is inspired by it, soaking on its skins in an oak Doppelstück for texture and flavour. The label carries an illustration of Autumn, a sculpture by Merab Berdzenishvili gifted to Grand Traverse County in 1989 to mark its agricultural sister-region tie with Mtskheta.
