Tasting notes
They planted these vines believing the clones came from Friuli, then found they had actually come from Piedmont, carried over a century ago by immigrants who called them Malvasia Bianca, so the US government did too. Genetic testing says the vines are really Malvasia Moscata, grown today only in Piedmont and the United States, but the legal name stays. Lush ruby red grapefruit on the nose leading to lemon verbena and tropical fruit, with a delicate effervescence from cold bottling that livens the palate like a Vinho Verde.
