Tasting notes
Intense aromatics of elderflower liqueur, lavender and rose petals, with flavors of dark chocolate and sea salt, coffee and blackberry liqueur. Graciano is thought to be the oldest variety commercially grown in Spain today, predating the Romans in the terraced hillsides of the Rioja Alavesa. It taunts the grower with a late start, uneven growth and poor yields, which is why so little of it is planted and so few bottlings exist. 100% Graciano, Rioja Alavesa massal selection by Markus Bokisch. 224 cases.
