Tasting notes
A traditionally made fortified wine. Small quantities of perfectly ripe fruit gently crushed, fermented for just a few days, then arrested with considerable sugar remaining by the addition of neutral grape spirit, and aged in older oak for softness and complexity. Blackberry, blueberry and plum aromas, with a mouthfeel that is all velvet and fire.
