Tasting notes
The most anticipated wine in the cellar. Their last Pickberry Cabernet was the 2019, and nearly half a decade later the vineyard spoke again. Hand harvested at sunrise on the rugged, windswept slopes of Sonoma Mountain, hand sorted and destemmed into open-top stainless, then fermented slow and cool with daily punchdowns. No new oak, so the vineyard leads: structure without dominance, powerful without excess. Six barrels made.
